As a result of its fuller hull shape the sailing model of the Tyee Spirit row boat easily accommodates three or four people. This row boat can be sailed with the crew sitting on the seats or on the floor as in dinghy sailing. Sitting low provides for better all-around visibility.
The efficient, easily handled lug rig sets up in less than five minutes and can be stowed inside the boat. It features a kick-up rudder and a pivoting bronze centerboard, and optional solid teak floor which includes built in traditional footstops and is removable for maintenance and cleaning. An optional slide seat sculling unit can be fitted over top of the centerboard well.
Its a great row boat that sculls, motors or sails well.
